| Our approach is based
on the following points: | Intelligent
Instructional Content | By "intelligent instructional content"
we mean technology and know-how ensuring that: - The content is tailored
to professional needs and interests
- It is tailored to the learner's existing
level of proficiency
- It is tailored to the individual's own pace
- The
instructional objectives are clear
- The instructional activities are varied
-
The learner participates actively
- The explanations are clear
- Progress
is measured regularly
- Learners can directly access lessons in a course
- Learners
are encouraged to complete an individual program
- Skills learned can be
used in the workplace to perform everyday tasks.
iProgress has ten
years of experience and know-how that goes far beyond expertise in the Internet,
graphics, and multimedia. Creating instructional content based on real-life scenarios,
arranging it into self-paced learning modules, and developing interactive activities
are the key skills that have made us so successful. This expertise is highly valued
by users and recognized by the most prominent instructional design firms worldwide. "PROGRESSION
is wonderful. The structure is task-oriented rather than topic oriented. The program
includes prescriptive diagnostic pre-assessment and progressive practice that
leads the students through a well thought-out series of activities until they
have mastered the tasks taught." Professor David Merrill - Utah

| Structured
Instructional Design | The iProgress instructional method covers
three key phases in learning: - An assessment that looks at
both the job-related needs and the existing proficiency of the user, so that an
individual course can be defined.
- An interactive self-paced learning
phase (step-by-step guided learning and practical exercises)
- An evaluation
of acquired knowledge and know-how at the end of the course.
The instruction
is divided into modules grouped into courses. Each module lasts on average 60
to 90 minutes and concentrates on a specific job-related task.
| Personalized Human
Guidance | PROGRESSION® is designed to be used in conjunction
with tutoring to enhance the learning process. The role of the tutor is to step
in at key moments of the learning process and facilitate future use of the knowledge
acquired. The key steps at which tutoring is particularly helpful are:
- Before starting the
training, to get information about how self-paced learning works.
- After
the initial assessment to put together a training course.
- During the
learning phase or the exercise section, for assistance with any points the learner
may be having trouble with.
- After the exercise section to verify that
the training goals have been achieved.
- After the self-evaluation, to
get feedback on the results and advice on what points to review, if any.
- At
the end of the training course, to get feedback on the progress and advice on
using the acquired skills on a daily basis.
